Rocked By Her Devils by Rosa Holland

Five years ago Clover, who works as a photographer, sold a photo of The Devils which sent them straight to jail. Now she's contracted to be the official photographer on their first tour since their release - she's not sure WHY they requested her, but she soon finds out! Three hot rock gods with revenge on their minds, one woman.  Add in Clover's abusive ex and there are some thriller elements to the story too.  I was surprised at how quickly The Devils band members forgave her for five years in prison and instead treated her like a princess; I was expecting more anger.  This 'why choose' / reverse harem story does heat up, and the plot is not very demanding to follow. Still an enjoyable and spicy story well worth a read.  #RockedByHerDevils #NetGalley

Old Boys by Nick Spalding

This is a story about strained family relationships, forgiveness and giving second chances. It's well written and easy to get into. Will Fairweather is a middle-aged man who is struggling with his life; in the middle of a divorce, with work at a standstill and he's not really sure what he wants to do, or how he fits in.  When he receives a call from his father Red, Will reluctantly agrees to move in with him. What Will doesn't know is that Red has recently been diagnosed with cancer and wants them to reconnect. Spending time with Red, Will realises that there is much more to his father than he thought.  All in all, it is a heartwarming and amusing story showing that there can be good in life! #OldBoys #NetGalley

Blood and Bone (#1) by Paula Dombrowiak

Entertaining and not your usual rock star story - more depth, more complicated and sadly, more left open at the end. There are another three books already announced in the series so hopefully somewhere along the way there may be more or an ending; this wasn't that book. Some passages that caught my eyes;  Mia laughed. “You never stop loving someone.” She said. “You can hate the decisions or the actions they make, but not the person.” Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that, “It doesn’t make you a bad person just because you didn’t love someone enough.”  People come into your life for a reason when you need them most. Whether it was to teach you a lesson, to get through a tough time, or to give you the faith you lack.
