Smart bitches buy bitcoin by Branden LaNette and Andrea Waltz

"We’re on a financial Titanic" Title: Smart bitches buy bitcoin  Authors: Branden LaNette and Andrea Waltz  OK, first things first... the use of the word 'bitches' didn't sit well with me, at all, but the authors explained they used it to describe an empowered, assertive woman and that we should think of a female wolf (not dog), hmmmm... unfortunately this makes me think of the film The Wolf of Wall Street  which did not portray women as empowered or assertive! Let's move on... My main message after having read this book - BUY IT AND READ IT! The book is full of useful facts, all presented in an engaging and fun way - yes, a book on finance which is actually enjoyable to read and easy to understand!  In my view understanding the basics of bitcoin (and the wider topic of personal finances) should be taught at school, as part of the general knowledge we all should have. Bitcoin is not going away and it may well be the key to our chance of true freedom and happin...

Title: Liam's Choice, book 1 in the Quilter's Son series [ LINK ]     Author: Samantha Bayarr Liam has secretly attended school outside of the Amish community, to allow him a chance to set up his own company. Just before Liam is due to graduate his father is killed in a buggy accident and Liam is feeling guilty as it should have been him doing that buggy ride, or at least been with his father.  To atone for his guilt he escapes the family home soon after graduating and starts his life as an Englisher , leaving his sweetheart Lucy behind. And the Bridge Is Love by David Biro

"There is a land of the living and a land of the dead, and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning" Title: And the Bridge Is Love [ LINK ] Author: David Biro Emotional, inspirational and full of hope; a beautiful story about three mature, independent women. Free-spirited Corinna, family-centred Maria and athletic Gertie are brought together after a choking incident where two of the women most likely saved the life of the third.  They develop a strong friendship after the incident and share their lives in a way that only women can. They meet at least weekly in what they refer to as The Temple, a clearing with a bench, overlooking the Verrazzano bridge connecting Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York. During twenty years they meet and see the big ships coming and going sharing their lives stories.  There are things in all their pasts which they haven't yet shared with each other and other things they don't yet even know themselves. Preconceived ideas, ...

Writing a Book a Week: How to Write Quick Books Under the Self-Publishing Model by Alex Foster

'if you want to be profitable, you must create quality in quantity' Title:  Writing a Book a Week: How to Write Quick Books Under the Self-Publishing Model Author: Alex Foster Short and sweet book with quite a few ideas on how to write a book in a week, or even less.  To succeed, Foster suggests a rather regimented structure to the week with dedicated creative, research, writing, and editing days. Also, just writing one or two books won't give you any success; instead the suggestion is to aim for quantity, but still with great quality .  Never confuse effort and time with results when it comes to writing. Foster also provides ideas on how to market the book ; after all, writing is the easy part whereas ensuring it is seen and bought by people is partly in the hands of the algorithms on e.g. Amazon.

One-Problem Writing: A Writer's Guide To Speed-Writing Helpful Non-Fiction Books And Earning Money In 7-Days Or Less by Dennis Becker

Give them an offer they can’t refuse and promise their satisfaction; a very inspiring and hands-on book Title:  One-Problem Writing: A Writer's Guide To Speed-Writing Helpful Non-Fiction Books And Earning Money In 7-Days Or Less Author:  Dennis Becker Becker is very encouraging in everyone's ability to write helpful non-fiction books. As he puts it, if you can write an email to a friend explaining how to do something, you can write a book about the same thing! Becker encourages us to start thinking of what we’re really good at and to make us think about if anyone has ever told us that we do something better and faster than anyone else? According to him, it pays to write about what we know, but he adds the warning that we need to check that it's a topic people are already spending money on or we'll be wasting our time! To succeed, try to be as specific as possible and use a topic that focuses on ONE problem people have. If you are eager to cover more than one topic; writ...

You Can't Always Get What You Want, by Evie Baxter

When nice isn't enough Title: You Can't Always Get What You Want Author: Evie Baxter What an amazing first book by Evie Baxter!!! Hannah had everything carefully planned out for a life with a nice man, David, who would provide everything she needed. Their wedding is being planned in minute detail, orchestrated by David and his all-controlling mother, leaving Hanna to only select her dress and shoes - and with literally no say in anything else.  Enter Max, who is determined to ensure Hannah wakes up to realise that nice and safe is not everything there is to life. And, that David is not the right man for her. With Max's help Hannah starts to experience life and she blossoms into an independent woman full of adventure and energy.  A real feel-good, empowering story with a happy ending. I've already put a reminder in my calendar for July when Baxter's second book, Sugar Baby , is due to be released.
